To all subscribers of the pluck announcement mailing list,
We're proud to announce the immediate release of the newest version of pluck, version 4.6. This version includes the latest developments the pluck team has worked on for the past 10 months. In this email, we'll give some highlights on the new features.
The biggest change in pluck 4.6 is the new module system. This system allows developers to easily integrate their own content with pluck in the form of a small module. Users can easily install and uninstall modules through the admin center. Documentation for the module system can be found on our wiki: http://www.pluck-cms.org/docs/
The theming engine has also had an update. The engine has been completely rewritten; this means old themes for 4.5.x won't work in pluck 4.6. Documentation for the new theming engine can also be found on the wiki.
In addition to these two main features, we've also got TinyMCE 3.2 (the latest and greatest), support for slideshows in the albums, a rewritten blog module, an update checker that now uses the curl-lib, md5-encrypted passwords, new languages and lots of smaller enhancements. We think you'll like pluck 4.6 - go check it out on our website: http://www.pluck-cms.org

Speaking of the website; you may notice it has been completely revised, and is based on pluck now too! The forum has been updated too, and we reorganized the wiki.
We're very curious about what you think about pluck 4.6 and our new website. We welcome all your input on the forums: http://www.pluck-cms.org/forum/
Have fun with pluck 4.6!
Kind regards,
Sander Thijsen
