Pluck 4.7 released

To all subscribers of the pluck announcement mailing list, The pluck development team is proud to announce the release of pluck 4.7. This is a major update which contains the latest developments the pluck development team has worked on. We recommend all users to update their pluck installation as soon as possible, because with this release the support for the 4.6 series has stopped. The most notable new feature in pluck 4.7 is the support for SEO-friendly URLs and sub pages. Also an important new feature is the new module system with hooks. Next to this, a lot of smaller features have been added, and almost all of the code has been reviewed and rewritten. Also, themes will need a few small changes to work with pluck 4.7. This module enables rewritten URLs for Apache webservers. This beta release contains the latest developments the pluck development team has worked on. This release is a development release, which means it is not yet suitable for production environments. For regular users, we recommend to wait for pluck 4.7 stable before updating. The most notable new feature in the pluck 4.7 series is the support for SEO-friendly URLs and sub pages. To all subscribers of the pluck announcement mailing list, We're proud to announce the immediate release of the newest version of pluck, version 4.6. This version includes the latest developments the pluck team has worked on for the past 10 months. In this email, we'll give some highlights on the new features. The biggest change in pluck 4.6 is the new module system. This system allows developers to easily integrate their own content with pluck in the form of a small module. Users can easily install and uninstall modules through the admin center. Documentation for the module system can be found on our wiki: <a href="http://www.pluck-cms.org/docs/">http://www.pluck-cms.org/docs/</a> The theming engine has also had an update. The engine has been completely rewritten; this means old themes for 4.5.x won't work in pluck 4.6. Documentation for the new theming engine can also be found on the wiki. In addition to these two main features, we've also got TinyMCE 3.2 (the latest and greatest), support for slideshows in the albums, a rewritten blog module, an update checker that now uses the curl-lib, md5-encrypted passwords, new languages and lots of smaller enhancements.
