This guide will explain to you how to update your pluck 4.4 or older to the 4.5.x series. If you want to upgrade from 4.5 or 4.5.1 to 4.5.2, you should follow this guide.

First, you'll have to download the newest version from here. Unpack it on your harddisk. If you use Windows, you can use TUGZip to do this. A Linux-distribution is able to do it by default, without need to install additional software.

Then, you'll have to upload all files to your pluck installation. Make sure your FTP-client overwrites all existing files.

Pluck 4.5.x features a upgrade script that will do the rest of the work for you. Browse to your pluck installation and open the file update.php. Follow the on-screen instructions.
