Server requirements
What does a server need to host pluck?
Supported
- An Apache-server, running on Linux or Windows
- PHP 4.2.0 or newer
- PHP safe-mode OFF
- register_globals in php.ini should be off, for safety reasons. You can contact your webhost if you are unsure.
- The PHP-module php-gd
- The PHP-module php-zlib
- The PHP-module curl (more info)
- The ability to change permissions for files and directories
Not supported
- SunOS operating system - most things work, some minor glitches
- IIS-servers
Client requirements
What does a computer need to successfully work with pluck?
Supported
- Mozilla Firefox (recommended)
- Opera
- Safari 2.x - should work, but hasn't been tested yet
- Internet Explorer 7
- Recommended screen resolution: 1024x768 pixels or higher
Not supported
- Konqueror - due to some TinyMCE-problems, we unfortunately can't fully support Konqueror
- Safari 3.x - also not supported due to TinyMCE-problems
- Internet Explorer 6 - it may work, but we don't support it anymore because it's very outdated
