PP Installation htaccess file

Hey there, trying to install the pluck power pack on a site. i've already instsalled 4.6.3 version but want to upgrade it.

However every time i upload the .htaccess file it takes the whole site offline.

php info is here if it's something to do with server settings

http://arbeecards.co.uk/phpinfo.php

any ideas why this is happening?

Re: PP Installation htaccess file

hey thanks, i did ask uncle google and uncle google spouted that which i did not understand (i'm by no means a programmer)

anyway, i've checked with the hosts of the website and they say that mod_rewrite is enabled by default.

any other ideas why this wouldn't be working?

Thanks

I have been thinking on some other thing. Check for RewriteBase /

Add this line or remove. Check both options.

Re: PP Installation htaccess file

Okay, getting somewhere finally, got everything installed, the admin works fine and i can create pages but now nothing shows up when i go to view the site in a browser. Even when i view source there's nothing there.

link >> http://www.arbeecards.co.uk/kop1.php

This is the Pluck PP SEO btw.

Any ideas what's going wrong there now?

The exact same thing is happening on my own website when i tried to install the PP SEO pack. http://www.a-mcc.co.uk/index.php

and i also get this coming up sometimes when i try to view the admin
"Cross-site request forgery detected."

Many Thanks
Adam
