Dear readers,
A website of us is running without problems for more then a year now.
But i just got a call from the customer where he told me he couldnt update it with IE9.
I tested it and he's correct. It works in FF and Chrome & IE7/8 but in IE9 i cant edit the pages.
I updated it to the lastest version of pluck but it didn't fix the problem.
Any suggestions or tipts? (since the update didnt work out i reverted the update.)
thanks in advance!

Hi Vergezogt, I guess you were running pluck 4.6.4? Can you check if this issue still occurs with the new 4.7 version? If so, please post a bug report at Launchpad, with a detailed description of the problem and the steps to reproduce it.

Hi Sander,
I was running 4.6.4 indeed.
I'll glady test it with 4.7 but wouldn't my theme be broken then?
Since I read that the old theme's won't work with the new version?
thanks in advance!

Yes, you'd have to convert your theme to the 4.7 format (see the theming guide). But you can also install a seperate pluck 4.7 installation, just for testing purposes.

Hi Sander,
In 4.7 the problem doesnt occur.
So the only option will be converting the theme to 4.7 right?
Thanks!

Ok, good!

If you want to use pluck 4.7, yes. And I'd recommend to upgrade to pluck 4.7, because the pluck 4.6 series won't be supported anymore (this means: no new releases with bug fixes / security updates, etc).

Hello Sander,
I planned the to convert the theme this week.
But now we get the message : Cross-site request forgery detected.
What causes this problem any idea?

Can you be more specific about the problem? When does it occur? What is the URL when this problem occurs? etc.

To me it looks like a failed upgrade from 4.6.3 to 4.6.4. It says it's running 4.6.3, but I am sure some of the core files in the pluck installation are from 4.6.4. I'd recommend to make a full backup of the current installation, and then upgrade it to 4.7. That should solve the problem. Please note however that the guestbook module by Jellisontech is not (yet) available for 4.7.
